I am making a selection of 20 photography prints available for sale for the first time - these make up my first 'print edition' entitled 'Scenes of significance'. They're amongst my favourite images, from my archives spanning 15 years shooting candid street and documentary photography. I've worked hard to ensure the images both reflect my personal style and are of the highest quality - capable of looking great in an individual frame, or as a set.
Sales from my prints will enable me to make new work - both in the UK & around the world, so if there are particular images from my portfolio website (mrrichardmills.com) that aren't featured for sale in this initial selection, please do get in touch.
About me...
I was born and raised in northern England and have had an interest in photography all of my life, but have been shooting seriously for the last 15 years. I've always been particularly interested in candid street and documentary photography and this has been my main focus in recent years. I have also shot extensive commercial work in the past for clients including Toyota, Diageo, Namibia Breweries, PizzaExpress and shadowing TV & Film crews.
I am also an avid collector of photography books and would recommend any photographer wishing to shoot street photography to buy lots of books - they're far more interesting that photography 'gear' and there is so much to learn! My favourite photographers influence my work and approach - these include Tony Ray Jones, Bruce Gilden, Alex Webb, Martin Parr, Matt Stuart and Jason Eskenazi. I have a number of favourite photography books but if I had to be drawn on one, it would be Telex Iran by Gilles Peress.
I hope one day to produce and publish my own book so watch this space!

* Archival gallery quality.
* Available in 3 sizes - Medium (A4 - 210x297mm), large (A3 - 297x420mm) & extra large (A2 - 420mmx594mm) sizes, all ideal sizes for mounting and framing.
* Printed to include a white border as shown.
* Each print edition is approved, numbered and signed by myself on the back.
Shipping information...
Each print will be packed to order in a protective sealed cover and is shipped on mounted board (A4 & A3). The larger A2 prints are shipped rolled in a robust photo tube (100mm) for better protection.
Your shipping cost will be calculated at check out. The shipping time will vary depending on your location - around 5 working days within the UK, 10 working days for locations in Europe and beyond.Contact & Follow...
